Summer Camp FAQ

What should my child bring to camp?

Your child should bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Snacks
  • Lunch
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Gym shoes/sneakers (no open-toe shoes, flip-flops, etc..)
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Backpack
  • Towel (optional, to sit on during lunch)

We are a nut-free camp. Please DO NOT pack peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, or hummus. Campers must bring their own food/snacks for lunch (food is not provided).

How do you group campers and what is the camper/counselor ratio?

Campers are placed in groups by age and/or ability. If the camper would like to be grouped with a friend, please enter that information upon registration. Our counselor-to-camper ratio is no more than 1:10.

What if my camper has allergies, medications or special needs?

Please enter all pertinent information when registering. Epi-pens and asthma inhalers will remain with the camper in their backpack and tagged. Any other medication must be given to the Camp Director upon arrival for safekeeping. If your child needs special accommodations or there is any additional information you feel we should know about your child, please send Ralph (ralph@swagkidsgym.com) an email the week prior to camp with details or to set up a phone call. We greatly appreciate any information you can share with us, and this gives us time to prepare and ensure the best camp experience possible.

All of our staff are American Red Cross certified CPR/AED, First Aid and Asthma/Epi-Pen Administration.
